Stories teach lessons
By using storytelling as a teaching tool you will get your message across more effectively and efficiently.
Storytelling:
- increases learners’ willingness to interact and exchange thoughts and feelings.
- Fosters active participation
- Improves and expands vocabulary
- Expands imagination and creativity
- Encourages group interaction
- Improves listening skills
- In this learning experience, we help educators to be aware of what is required to engage and guide students using the power of Storytelling.
- People remember stories more than facts or statistics.
- The workshop is designed to provide the “how to” tools, frameworks and templates to understand how to structure a story theme, to design the flow and how to deliver the story confidently
- Learn how to project the volume, vary the pitch and moderate the tempo of your voice
- Learn the different body language, facial expressions and choice of words to use in storytelling
- Learn how to keep your learners engaged and have them want to listen to you talk
- Learn when to pause and when to inject humour (if relevant to the topic) to enhance the learning experience
This program can be customised for educators. This is a hands-on-deck workshop to coach educators on the art of Storytelling from conception to delivery.
Using real situations, the learners will be provided with frameworks, tools and templates to apply immediately to the situations they are experiencing.
